In my last post, I failed to explain how my favorite bowl could possibly plunge to his death from the top of our fridge. Well, truth be told, he toppled from the dish drainer.
I have to blame New York for this one; if our kitchen had any normal amount of counter space, this never would have happened.
I'll miss you, bowl.

I'm curious: What was your bowl's name? Also, are you certain that it was a boy bowl? Such a sudden and painful loss. Must be hard to overcome.
bowl had always gone by "bowl"... though now that you mention it, I'm thinking it might have been a girl and should probably have gone by "mama." It was the mid-sized bowl in a set of three, and in terms of Goldilocks has been survived by papa bowl and baby (adolescent?) bowl. Believe me, we're all missing mama.

RIP bowl. I knew you shortly but dearly. your salad tossing days were righteously fulfilling.
