gainfully employed

Did I mention I got a job? Well, I did. Granted, it's doing the same thing in the same place as my so-called "internship," but now I have the salary, the benefits, and the longer hours to prove it. This is exciting. This is very exciting with the exception of the longer hours. For as much as I liked the idea of being an intern-for-life, the time had come. This means I'll be in New York a longer than originally planned, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to no longer living my life in four-month increments. But who am I kidding? This isn't my first job by any means. Now that I think about it...

I didn't know hops could be trained. Apparently you learn something new every day.
